This is a view across Crater Lake in Southern Oregon. In the distance a rocky spire emerges from the water, this is Phantom Ship, one of the last remnants of Mount Mazama which stood here more than 5,000 years ago. Mazama eventually collapsed, forming the pristine mountain lake you see here.
